Group Discussion on 2.27

Deborah S. Chung had a conclusion in his essay, Interactive Features of Online Newspapers: Identifying Patterns and Predicting Use of Engaged Readers, that an online newspaper serving readers who are mostly younger female audiences may spend less time on adopting much of the technology driven medium interactive features but place more focus on the human/ medium interactive features that allow for personal expression.

Some of the groups in class agree, but despite that our group members are all female, we all like to watch videos (YouTube, etc) instead of chatting with our friends on Facebook. We think that the phenomenon has more relation to the characteristic instead of sexuality. (I personally think that gender has more to do with the phenomenon)
